Help Fight Community Hunger: Food Industry Donations

Food industry donations play a key role in the success of Ministry of Mission Food Pantry. We will gladly accept both large and small quantities of food products. Contact Maria Garcia, by email at garcia_maria@mail.com or by phone at 416.887.5069 for more information or to arrange a food industry pick-up.

Please use the info provide in this blog and page if you wish to make a general monetary donation or a donation as part of a company food drive. Your charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes will be issued.

MISSION of MINISTRY'S FUNDRASING:

Since 2007, MoM has been recruting, preparing, supporting Canadians to share their skills and knowledge with communities in need, helping to train local people and build strong links with our neighbours. But we have many more requests for skilled volunteers than we have funding to support. Your contribution enables us to place more people in the field and ensure they have quality preparation and support to help achieve their placements goals and make a real difference to the overseas community.

Recurring donations demonstrate your continued support of poverty reduction and allow MoM to effectively plan future volunteer placements as well as cover the costs of keeping volunteers in the field. If you are unable to commit to a recurring donation, one-off donations are also gratefully accepted.


You can choose to donate online,don't forget all donations over $2 to MoMs Overseas Fund are tax-deductible.

SUPPORT A SPECIFIC VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT

To donate to support a specific volunteer placement, country or sector (health, education, etc.), please ask to use the donate form on an individual volunteer's profile.


ABOUT YOUR DONATION

Recurring donations will be deducted on a regular basis, until MoM's Paypal is notified to stop. Upon clicking "Donate", you will be forwarded to an external site, hosted by Paypal, to securely transmit your credit card or paypal account details. Please check the form on the next page to confirm the transaction details are correct. In this instance, MoM does not handle your credit card details but will receive notification of your address.

In the event MoM raises monies in excess of the amount needed for a given placement, donations made towards this placement will be used for placements with similar development outcomes. For more information contact MoM.

DONATE BY MAIL/FAX

Checks are still acceptable! Send your monetary donations to "Ministry of Mission Organization" in a certified check or money order to 11 Denison Road East, York, Toronto, On M9N 1B6 Canada. Be sure to indicate it is a donation in the memo field.
