Policy Statement

Ministry of Mission Organization The general purpose of Ministry is stated clearly in the By-Laws. Our purpose, first and foremost, is "to enhance the participation of immigrant and visible minority women in Canadian society through innovative and collaborative efforts among the board, community partners, funders, participants and staff".

As a matter of general, overriding policy, the Board of Directors interprets this to mean that our primary reason for existence is to lovingly present to all who enter our mission the biblical truths as enumerated in our Statement of Faith, the essence of which being: that" presenting the Scriptures to the needy and helping provide for their spiritual and physical needs.

By definition, therefore, it is our task to see that these biblical truths are presented to our visitor, for "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Romans 10:15.

It is therefore our task to present these biblical truths in a public, corporate setting: i.e., in regular in personal, individual settings: i.e., personal counseling, and by whatever other efficient means might be available: i.e., videos, tracts, films, magazines, etc.

Out of this primary objective flows the rationale for everything else we do. The food, the shelter, the clothing, the job counseling we provide, in short everything else we do is to demonstrate the love of God, thus validating the truths of the Scriptures to the recipient.

In summary, our primary mission is to do all that is possible to see men and women, boys and girls, come to faith in Messiah, to become established as a part of His family , to grow in grace, and to have lives transformed, because we are "not ashamed of the truth".

Ministry of Mission Organization does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex, age or disability in any of its policies and programs
