Take a Mission Trip: This is an education and mentoring project to enabling the Poor to Help Themselves that we partnered with.

Ministry of Mission Organization engages in this international mission work in DR with the aim to accomplish one of these goals:
• Securing books, school supplies and educational materials for the classrooms
• Building classrooms, libraries, computer labs and sport recreation areas
• Operating Children's Soup Kitchen
• Empowering local communities by providing models, resources and training
• Training Dominican teachers and local community members in modern child centered teaching methodologies
• Securing microenterprise equipment such as sewing machines and computers.
• Provide financial and volunteer resources to help meet urgent community needs, including donations of medicines and other supplies, repair of shared community structures such as the well, and repair/rebuild of several houses that a Dominican Rep.
• Raising awareness within the international community for sustainable tourism
• Promoting Eco and enviromentally friendly tours.
We are sustained through the generous contribution of time, talent, funds, materials and supplies from individuals. We would like the cooperation of foundations, business and others.
Vision for this project:
It is our vision that all children born in the Dominican Republic have the opportunity to receive an education and learn to their full potential. It is our hope that our efforts can be multiplied to allow the opportunity for every child’s gifts and challenges to be met with support nationwide. It is our goal to break the cycle of poverty and change peoples’ destinies. It is our dream that the world will be a better place for the children and families of the next generation.

Guest speakers are a valuable addition to Skills Unlimited Program, M&M Org.’s employment assistance program. Their contributions include mock interviews, providing examples of good customer service, and discussing hiring procedures and life skills.

Volunteering with M&m Org. enables you to:

Ministry of Mission Organization is seeking volunteers to help with the following areas:
PR/Communications/Marketing
Membership coordinator (database mgt. & data entry)
Archivist
Join our Board of Directors & other committees to participate in our Projects
Reception (greeting and directing visitors, answering, screening and directing phone calls, providing program information, etc.)
Office assistance (photocopying, typing, faxing, researching, liaising with staff, etc.)
Plus we always have projects involving writing, office work, fixing up M& M Or.(painting, handyman, etc.)-- plus others.

Business Services
As a not-for-profit Organization, Ministry of Mission Organization benefits greatly from free or discounted professional services from community members and businesses. If you are interested in donating your services – for example: marketing, graphic design, writing, life coaching, motivational speaking, etc. – please contact us.
We will happily provide tax receipts for all offered services and can arrange recognition through our newsletters, website, etc.
The Ministry of Mission Organization office is currently looking for items such as:

Fabrics (for the sewing program)

Computers, Office items , furniture and Shelves
