Project Women

Project Women,is about obtaining career-track employment, Microenterprising and scholarships. Our goals are:
1 We want single mothers and lone parent to learn skills to become economically independent by taking up short-term courses in our centre, or at designated Training locations( institutes) in Ontario.
2 To sustain a Single Parent Employment Support Program (SPES) and a Women Interested in Successful Employment(WISE) Program.
3 MoM also wants to change the lives, families, and communities through education. Our organization aims to end the cycle of poverty by giving women single and lone parents the support they need to achieve a two or four-year college degree.

As an organization, Ministry of Mission (MoM) recognizes the challenges that single parent family and single-and lone parent students face in trying to provide housing, childcare, and basic necessities for their children without adequate income or the education necessary to obtain career-track employment. In Ontario, hundreds of single-parents are trying to survive. Since incorporating in 2007, our not-for-profit organization has helped women of families in the North York area by providing settlement orientation, food and educational counselling.
